Only went for the alumni

I love that the team does this event for the fans, but I don’t like 2 big aspects of it. 1. The tank tailgate is not family friendly kids are not allowed, so it’s a bunch of fan boys who are getting autographs... I think there should be more merch stands open to make it easier for fans to buy the new merchandise, maybe have a exclusive sale as well... I really wasn’t impressed with what was offered. 2. Kids club signup was not open the entire time, engaging our youth is what will grow the sport later... All in all the event is worth the cash, I loved seeing the players and alumni players. Maybe a Canada vs the world for teams... and why couldn’t they get 2 ex sharks goalies.... kippursoff vs Nabby, or hedburg vs IRBE?

Sharks brought the sparks

We all received an Evander Kane Bobblehead holding his chihuahua Penelope. The game started at 1pm leaving you time to enjoy the rest of your day after the game. I pre paid for parking. So, I got to park in the ABC Lot right next to the SAP Center. I parked along the area as you enter the parking lot and someone was nice enough to let me get in front of them so that I could exit once the game was over. The Sharks won in overtime and I liked how teal streamers dropped down after the Sharks scored their second goal. I enjoyed how they showed clips of the Sharks playing the Washington DC Capitals and the opportunity to receive a free Sharks jersey if your seat was announced. The crowd in Section 209 was really into the game. This was my second Sharks game and I really enjoyed myself this time around.

Needs a lot of work

We got in line and nobody checked our health pass. So what's the point of making sure we are vaccinated? The tiny 5x9x2 bag policy is ridiculous. Not sure what's the point of that or has anything to do with Covid? We had to walk around with our giveaway with no bag which is annoying. Also there were no announcement for not leaning forward. The lady next to us got so rude telling the people behind that she paid for her seats and she is going to lean forward and told the couple to go sit somewhere else if they can't see. When did people get so rude? Also I don't see the Blue Coats anywhere walking up and down to help dealing with rude people like that. First game was missing some things that needs to get button down. But GREAT GAME! We Won!

Completing A Home-And-Road Series vs. Dallas

As of press time, the San Jose Sharks are still in my doghouse as a result of what happened on November 19. My favorite hockey team is no longer my all-time favorite sports team. I don’t know what the logo stands for and I can only wonder what message I was communicating when wearing that logo. Having seen the San Jose Sharks play in Dallas in November, I wanted to attend the home portion of my personal home-and-road series. SAP Center at San Jose is no American Airlines Center; despite all the upgrades that SAP Center makes, The Tank shows its age sometimes. And I say that having had club seats for the January 18 game. The night was good not just because of the thrilling come-from-behind victory, but mainly because the #TankTunes DJ didn’t play lame songs like “Sandstorm” and “I Can Make Your Hands Clap.” The night went better than I expected due to Dallas Stars fans complimenting me for wearing a Dallas Cowboys hat with my DuSK Sharks sweater. The #TexasHockey fans seemed mesmerized by such a combo.
